About Us
The Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging (FNCOA) is a private nonprofit 501c3 tax-exempt organization. Our sole purpose is to raise money to supplement the programs and services of the Newbury Council on Aging for the elders in the Town of Newbury.
The Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging provide funds that underwrite emergencies for the elders of Newbury, special events, COA center activities, social services and educational programs, the annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon and Holiday Luncheon for the senior residents of Newbury. We access grants and raise funds to provide the Newbury Council on Aging with financial support for its programs and services for the elderly.
The Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging currently meets quarterly at the Newbury Council on Aging office.
